Napoli hand Osimhen’s number 9 to Lukaku after transfer drama

Image
Napoli’s Victor Osimhen has found himself sidelined as the Serie A club has handed his iconic number 9 jersey to their new signing, Romelu Lukaku. This development follows a summer of intense transfer speculation and a reported fallout with the club’s hierarchy, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. The Nigerian striker, who played a pivotal role in securing Napoli’s first Scudetto in four decades, was at the centre of a tug-of-war between several top clubs. However, despite last-minute bids from Saudi giants Al-Hilal and English side Chelsea, Osimhen remains with the Partenopei, a situation that has left many fans and pundits puzzled. New Napoli manager Antonio Conte, who has a history with Lukaku from their successful stint at Inter Milan, appears to have no place for Osimhen in his plans. Conte’s preference for the Belgian striker is seen as a key reason behind the decision to strip Osimhen of his number 9 shirt. Napoli had reportedly reached an agreement with Saudi club Al Ahli

Adelabu’s statement contradicts claims that customers who pay for meters would be refunded through energy credit. Speaking recently in Ibadan, the minister, who acknowledged that the cost of meters had been on the increase, said funding was a major challenge. According to Adelabu, the Federal Government would fund the meter procurement through different initiatives while the customers pay back over time. “We can get funding for this meter and allow the customers to pay over time. “When the government starts procuring meters, we’ll give it to the customers, and we’ll deduct the money over 10 years. In which case, you will not even feel it at all,” he stated. He explained further that a customer who bought an energy credit of N5,000 might have N100 deducted for the ‘free’ meter he got from the government. “Probably, if you buy a credit o

EPL: Madueke hits hat-trick as Chelsea run riot over Wolves

Noni Madueke hit a hat-trick as Chelsea crushed Wolves 6-2 to give Enzo Maresca his first Premier League win as Blues boss, while Newcastle rescued a controversial 1-1 draw at Bournemouth on Sunday. Maresca suffered a 2-0 loss against Manchester City last weekend in his first game since arriving from Leicester to replace Mauricio Pochettino in the close-season. Chelsea got off the mark under Maresca with a UEFA Conference League play-off victory against Servette on Thursday, but that low-key success was only the prelude to their goal spree at Molineux. Maresca’s side made the perfect start after just 98 seconds when Matheus Cunha could only flick his attempted clearance from a corner towards Nicolas Jackson, who was left unmarked to head in from six yards. Jackson’s goal infuriated Wolves fans already angry with Chelsea after Madueke posted and then deleted a critical review of Wolverhampton just hours before kick-off. Madueke shared his location, which was Wolverhampton, in the post,

I will not accept that. But if you say ex-man, I can say yes. Because I was once a man way back, I cannot even remember. “You said it is an excursion. To me, I see it as a vacation. Why Men may cope better than women after divorce

Image
While early divorce in marriage can often be linked to a lack of compatibility, especially if the couple didn’t take the time to get to know each other well, divorce later in life has also become more prevalent in recent times, even after many years of marriage. Divorce is seldom an easy hurdle to overcome, as it affects people in diverse ways. However, studies have shown that women are more likely to cope better with divorce than men due to several negative feelings men often experience when they reach a crisis point. Even though a man may initially feel a sense of freedom, such feelings may not last long when stress, anxiety, and fear set in, leading to loneliness and depression. Strength in Adversity According to studies, most women are more secure and happier years after a divorce, especially if the marriage was dominated by violence. A woman is likely to see divorce as an escape and an opportunity to reclaim her life. She is more likely to engage in positive actions, both physical
