I’ll never fall in love again – Singer SZA

Grammy-winning artist Solana Rowe, popularly known as SZA, has declared she is no longer interested in romantic relationships.

The 34-year-old singer made her feelings clear on Thursday in a post on her X (formerly Twitter) account, where she expressed strong disdain for romance, likening it to a “disease.”

“I never wanna be romantically interested in a human being ever again in my entire life. That shit is a disease,” SZA wrote.

The “Kill Bill” hitmaker who has largely kept her love life out of the public eye, has rarely spoken about her romantic experiences.

Born in St. Louis to a Christian mother and a Muslim father, SZA was raised in the Islamic faith and continues to practice it.

She first garnered attention in the music industry with her self-produced EPs, ‘See.SZA.Run’ in 2012 and ‘S’ in 2013. SZA became the first female artist to sign with Top Dawg Entertainment and released her third EP, ‘Z,’ in 2014.

Her debut studio album, Ctrl, was released in 2017 under RCA Records, and her follow-up album, SOS, was released in 2022, solidifying her status as a major force in music.

Throughout her career, SZA has earned a host of awards, including four Grammys, a Brit Award, an American Music Award, a Guild of Music Supervisors Award, and two Billboard Women in Music awards.

In addition to her own work, she has written for artists like Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, Travis Scott, ScHoolboy Q, and Rihanna.
